Expectations Salary For SPM Port Selection

The selected candidates will be paid a monthly salary of Rs. 90,000 (previously Rs. 36,600-62,000). In addition to this, they will receive other allowances detailed below:

Pay Option: Choose between SMPK, KDS pay scale, or parent organization’s basic pay plus deputation allowance within one month of joining.

Dearness Allowance: Entitled to rates in KDS, SMPK, or parent organization based on the chosen pay scale.

Deputation Allowance: If opting for the parent organization’s pay scale, receive 5% of basic pay, capped at Rs. 4,500/- per month.

House Rent Allowance: Receive HRA per Major Port Authorities’ rates or parent organization’s rates based on chosen pay scale; no HRA if provided SMPK accommodation.

Travel Allowance for Duty: Entitled to TA and DA for duty journeys as per SMPK rules.

Cafeteria Allowance: If opting for borrowing the organization’s pay, receive perks and allowances up to 35% of basic pay.

Joining Time Pay & Transfer Travel Allowance: Entitled on joining and reversion, as per rules, borne by SMPK.

Residential Accommodation: Entitled to SMPK residential accommodation by paying standard rent, HRA not applicable.
