The Mundra Port, which is the largest private port in India, benefits from deep draft, first-class infrastructure and SEZ status. Adani is also developing ports at Hazira, Mormugao, Visakhapatnam and Kandla in India and Dudgeon Point in Australia. Our aim is to increase our annual cargo handling capacity from 52 MMT in 2011 to 200 MMT by 2020. Energy involves power generation & transmission and gas distribution.Adani is the largest private thermal power producer in India. Our power generation capacity is expected to increase from 4,000 MW at the start of 2012 to 10,000 MW by the end of 2012. We are currently developing six power projects for generating 16,500 MW of power across Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. Our aim is to generate 20,000 MW by 2020.

Job Description
1. Identifying training and development needs within an organisation.
2. Designing and expanding training and development programmes based on the needs of the organisation and the individual.
3. Working in a team to produce programmes that are satisfactory to all relevant internal and external customers in an organisation, such as SMC, MMC, JMC and SS.
4. Considering the costs of planned programmes and keeping within budgets as assessing the return on investment of any training or development programme is becoming increasingly important.
5. Developing effective induction programmes.
6. Conducting awareness programme relating to PMS.
7. Recommends necessary revisions to existing training courses and possible areas requiring training courses.
8. Creates individual development plans for each employee
9. Producing training materials for in-house courses;
10. Managing the delivery of training and development programmes and, in a more senior role, devising a training strategy for the organization.
11. Monitoring and reviewing the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions with managers;
12. Ensuring that statutory training requirements are met;
13. Evaluating training and development programme.
14. Amending and revising programmes as necessary, in order to adapt to changes occurring in the work environment.
15. Helping line managers and trainers solve specific training problems, either on a one-to-one basis or in groups.
16. Keeping up to date with developments in training by reading relevant journals, going to meetings and attending relevant courses.
17. Having an understanding of e-learning techniques, and where relevant, being involved in the creation and/or delivery of e-learning packages;
18. Researching new technologies and methodologies in workplace learning and presenting this research.
